Valentino Rossi to have shoulder surgery at end of year

The 31-year-old, who is leaving Yamaha for Ducati from next year, injured his shoulder and back in April before suffering a broken leg in June.

That last injury ruled him out for six weeks and four races, ending any hopes he had of taking the 2010 title.

He told Sky Italia TV: "In the end the problem is the shoulder. At the end of the year I'll have it operated on." - BBCsports

Nampaknye lepas ni Lorenzo, Pedrosa, Davioso, Stoner, Hayden, DePuniet dan lain-lain akan malu kalau duduk belakang moto Rossi. Rossi akan berlumba sepanjang musim dengan bahu yang tercedera. Mungkin tidak memberi banyak impak dalam konsentrasi perlumbaan tapi ia tetap akan memberi masalah suatu masa nanti dan ia masih lagi dikategorikan sebagai kecederaan.
